A HUNDRED lucky readers of The Herald will be hob-nobbing with golf’s international elite at the weekend.

The Herald is giving away 50 sets of tickets to Sunday’s finals of the prestigious Gary Player Invitational charity golfing event at the luxury Fancourt golf estate in George.

Competing in the event, which starts on Thursday, are US Masters champion Angel Cabrera and double US Open champion Retief Goosen.

Other professionals include Champions Tour campaigners Mark McNulty, John Cook and Bobby Jones, as well as European Senior Tour stalwarts Bill Longmuir, Bertus Smit and John Bland, plus Player himself.

Spanish supermodel and actress Ines Sastre, LPGA Tour player Sandra Gal, rising European Ladies Tour star Henrietta Zuel and BBC Sports presenter Sarah Stirk will add a touch of glamour to the fairways while other celeb contestants will include World Cup-winning rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward and Just Jinger vocalist and guitarist Ard Matthews.
