A SOUTH African internet service provider, OpenWeb, yesterday unveiled its low-cost, uncapped 384k ADSL web product for R196 a month.

This undercuts the 384k uncapped offering launched in March by M-Web, which claimed its R219 a month was 40% cheaper than other offerings.

OpenWeb said its accounts would launch on August 1 – in packages ranging from 384k for its uncapped Lite offering to R296 a month for 512k, R445 a month for 1024k, and R495 for 4096k. – I-Net Bridge
