AFTER falling ill on the first day and having her usual quarrels with Dave Cruser, WWE wrestler Ashley Massaro was voted out of the Zhang Hu tribe on Survivor: China on last night‘s episode.

The Herald spoke to her about her experience on the reality show.
“Doing the show makes you realise the way human minds react to being deprived of food, water and sleep. You get to see people raw ... and that‘s changed me a little bit, ” she said.
Aside from wrestling, from which she retired this year to take care of her sick daughter, she has also been a playboy model and was Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA 2002 and Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada in the same year.
On Dave, who to this day still annoys her, she said: “Dave is just an egotistical person who thinks the world revolves around him.
“I‘m very sociable. I usually get along with everyone and Dave and I just did not have that. We did not click at all. He‘s very bossy and he treats people like they‘re underneath his intelligence level, we‘re talking about a former model here.”
“I have a leadership personality and had I stepped up and been a leader, right before everyone was getting so fed up with Dave, maybe things could have changed for me.
“I got sick on the first day, but I bounced back from it. I didn‘t quit.”
But Dave was the leader, and because everyone appointed him leader, they were obliged to go with his decision to vote me off,” she said.
The ultimate lesson for Ashley, and one would imagine for any other Survivor, would be to trust no one, except yourself.
After the show, to permanently remind her of this message, Ashley tattooed the words “Trust No One” in Chinese lettering surrounded down the right side of her torso.
