PASSENGERS with Anne Hathaway, Patrick Wilson, Andre Braugher, Dianne Wiest and David Morse. Directed by Rodrigo Garcia.

CLAIRE Summers (Anne Hathaway) is a grief counsellor who is called out to deal with the survivors of a horrific plane crash.

As she starts counselling these survivors she realises that she may be in the middle of a mystery as the passengers keep disappearing.

She also finds herself becoming more and more intrigued by one particular survivor, Eric (Patrick Wilson) and cannot help but feel a strong connection to him. As the plot unfolds it seems that there is more to the crash than the airline would have the public believe and Claire makes it her mission to uncover the truth.

There is a constant element of mystery with strange characters and mysterious circumstances and events coming into play. One particularly eery character is her neighbour Toni (Dianne Wiest), who seems to know more about Claire than she should.

Hathaway once again shines in this movie and takes on her role as the paranoid counsellor with demons of her own to face, with skill and expertise.

This movie is highly entertaining and creates much confusion as to who actually has the answers, and you can not help but remain intrigued by each scene.

It will keep you glued to your seat and just when you think you have it figured out, something happens to change your mind. When the truth eventually emerges it's a complete surprise .

Definitely worth watching.
