SOME of the legends of the Port Elizabeth jazz scene will be honoured at a gala dinner at the Red Location Museum tomorrow.

The event starts at 6pm and will honour living legends Dudley Tito from the Soul Jazz Men, Vuyelwa Qwesha, Nomzamo Mkhize and Deneo Lebakeng.

The late Lulu Gontsana will also be honoured at the event. Event organiser Mike Pantsi said the aim of the event was to acknowledge and preserve those artists’ music for future generations to hear.
