THE second annual Jericho Heart Explosion battle of the bands takes place at DF Malherbe High School on Saturday.

Jericho is a Christian music battle of the bands competition and last year money raised from this event went towards sending a missionary team to Ubombo in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Thandu’sana Babies’ Home, a safe haven for abandoned or abused babies, will be the beneficiary of money raised at this year’s Jericho event.

Bands performing at this year’s event include: Two 88, Eternal Perspective, The Righteous, Calling on June and Jimmy the Door.

The battle starts at 7pm and the entry fee is R20 at the door.
