Showtime nominees online

Theatre Correspondent

THE 2009 PE Opera House Showtime Awards emanate from no fewer than 40 presentations on stages in Port Elizabeth during the past year and the full list of nominees for a number of awards is extensive.

In view of this, the organisers have decided to publish the full schedule of nominees on the Opera House, Magnetic Storm and Savoy Theatre and Conference Centre‘s websites (www.peoperahouse.co.za; www.magnetic.co.za and www.savoy.co.za).

The Showtime Awards ceremonies will be held in the Opera House on January 23 (juniors) and 30 (seniors), preceded by performances of the Showtime musical Passport to Teleland which otherwise runs from January 22 to 31. Booking opens at Computicket outlets, including the Opera House box office, on January 15.
