ON Wednesday I was turning into Cape Road. An SUV, with Sky Alarms signwritten on it, on the opposite side of the road was neither indicating nor moving, in spite of a green light.
I was in no hurry so waited patiently. However the car behind me hooted and admonished me to cut in front.
I then smiled and opened my arms in a gesture of “what are you going to do”, whereupon Mr Sky Alarms took off, giving me “the finger” in passing. This crude and aggressive attitude toward an elderly woman was rude and uncalled for, and the man should remember there is advertising for his company on the side of his car. – Linsay Smith, Port Elizabeth
